Sharing ThoughtExchange Results: #USD116Engage

Earlier this evening, I shared the results and analysis of our first ThoughtExchange engagement from last October and November.  Thank you to everyone who participated, and for of you who didn't, please consider this an open invitation to engage in our work to improve our schools and chart a course for the future.

The presentation has the district level analysis and themes that arose from the answers to the following questions:

  • What are some things you appreciate about our school?
  • What are some concerns you have about our school?
  • What are some things you would like your child to experience that they currently cannot?
The top thoughts from each school are analyzed and combined into themes to give an overview, and the top thoughts from each school are combined to give a high level view for the district.  My presentation will be available on the USD116 YouTube Channel in a few days.

Even more exciting is that everyone has the opportunity to explore the results for each of the schools and the district through this interactive website:

We hope you will take time to discover what people shared and starred in this process.  We also hope you will share your ideas about these results.  We will be using this data to help us create our next set of questions, develop new goals and revise and update our strategic plan.
